The felt surface works really well on our easel and the wall. We will be getting some larger command hooks (the ones that come with it are on the small side and with a bit of tugging by our toddler won't hold long), but was a good purchase overall.

Are these washable?

YES! We make our toys for life with kids, they're washable, stain resistant and best of all soft and pliable so they don't damage floors, furniture or siblings!

In fact our colorful thick felt alphabets, numbers and shapes are all made from eco-friendly felt thats made from recycled bottles and OEKO-TEX certified to be free of all known toxins and therefore safe for humans.

Everything can be washed with a cool water and if you need to, use a mild detergent as required. Lay flat to dry.

Can I buy the letters now, and the Flannel Board later?

YES! Everything is available a la carte so you can buy what you need, when you need it instead of all at once. You can see all of the Flannel Board accessory sets we sell here.

Will they stand up to heavy classroom level use?

YES! Teachers rave about our how wonderful our educational toys are for Montessori Schools, Preschools, Dayhomes and Kindergarten Classrooms because they are so durable.
Felt makes for wonderful classroom toys because its soft and doesn't break, or hurt other students, if dropped or thrown.
